A-Level

What is A-level:

A-Levels are qualifications taken after GCSEs (typically ages 16–18) in Years 12 and 13. Students usually choose 3–4 subjects to study in-depth, often aligned with university aspirations. Grades range from A* to E.

Our Approach:

  • Providing specialised tutoring in the chosen A-Level subjects, often taught by subject experts.
  • Helping with understanding complex topics and mastering exam techniques.
  • Preparing students for university-level thinking, including essay writing and critical analysis.

Subjects we offer:

  • Maths: Pure Maths, Mechanics, Statistics.
  • Further Maths (if offered): Advanced topics in Pure, Mechanics, and Statistics.
  • English: Literature (poetry, prose, plays), language analysis, and creative writing.
  • Biology: Cells, genetics, ecosystems, human biology, evolution.
  • Chemistry: Organic, inorganic, physical chemistry, and analysis.
  • Physics: Mechanics, waves, electricity, particle physics, and fields.
